Beneficent Lord, oh may thy love on us descend,
lightly alighting, softly as a dove—thy clement
care us enfolding as
willful wills and weak knees to thee bend—
an emblem unto us of peace in thy omniscence and divine mercy sent,
robbing not justice, impartial, just, equitable, fair, benign,
lifting us up, sustaining, leading, directing, guiding us from above,
a spiritual renascence for struggling mortals—in accord
with the immortal words of eternal, everlasting life of
our Savior and Lord, of thy dearly beloved Son, The Word—
incentives inward,
to aid and encourage others,
expressing to them outwards
through our heart-felt, sincere words,
our supportive anticipations and our selfless deeds,
|:His admonitions' matchless, transcendental effect:
The assured realization of our very deepest wants and needs:|
our well-meant enducements and selfless deeds,
|:His admonitions' matchless, transcendental effect:
The assured realization of our very deepest wants and needs:|
