Early Sunday Morning Thought

Let us not forget, however,
that proper prayers are also for God,
not just for us somewhat requisitely
grateful beings alone, so far away,
seemingly so sadly out of reach,
on Earth way down here below.

Can we imagine the greatest
and most powerful of all
totally alone in the universe,
no other sentient beings evincing
awareness of His power, glory,
His unwavering mercy and love?

Free will is a constant in the equation.
Worship, adoration, from mindless robots
robbing reality of actuality is a total no-brainer.
Let us, therefore, worship Him in spirit
and in truth, our guide the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures, scriven for our salvation and exaltation.

May our thanksgiving and appreciation,
like glistening drops of dew drawn irresistibly upward
by the rays of His sun, ascend ever higher up to Him.

May our thanksgiving and appreciation,
like glistening drops of dew drawn irresistibly upward
by the rays of His sun, ascend ever higher up to Him.
